Week 1

What did you do in the lab today? ​ - No Lab MLK day  What was the big question?​ Why Science? What did you learn in Thursday’s discussion?​ In the discussion, I learned about:  The United States has been the only people on the moon Many presidents have said we are going back, and we have yet to do so The moon has water on it, which could give us the chance to build a base for construction  There is hope for a plane in 2030 (probably won't happen yet) It is a one-way trip  Mars has no wind Mars was discovered by the Romes and was named after the God Aries, the God of War The planet is rusting  There are no resources on Mars  Women are the ideal astronauts They are lighter, shorter, and consume less food Jerrie Cobb should have been an astronaut The recycling that we do isn't actually doing anything the oil and gas companies made it to make us feel better about ourselves  Read the online textbook What did you learn?​ I learned that Dr. James V...
