What did you do in the lab today?​

 1. How do the phases of the moon occur?

        - The phases of the moon occur with the moon's rotation around the sun, and the amount of Sun is reflected off the moon

2. What causes the seasons

        - The rotation of the Earth around the Sun, and the tilt of the Earth

3. What causes a lunar eclipse? 

        - The alignment of the Sun, moon, and Earth


The Catholic church believed that Earth was in the center of the universe. This is not the truth; it's actually the sun. The math that comes from Copernicus and Galileo. Solstice is either the longest or shortest day of the year.
